Mazars in Ireland is delighted to be awarded the Silver Investors in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) accreditation for commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
As one of only nineteen organisations in Ireland to have achieved this prestigious accreditation, this is a very significant accomplishment for the firm. Silver accreditation affirms that Mazars has been benchmarked against companies and has both embedded EDI practices throughout the firm and engendered fairness and belonging among all colleagues.
A commitment to EDI is a core value of the firm, and our journey to achieve this award reflects the work we have done to date and gives a positive message to everyone, internal and external. We are proud of this achievement and aspire to maintain and develop from this high standard.
We are dedicated to ensuring that Mazars is an organisation where people have a sense of belonging and pride, can make meaningful contributions, and show up as their full, authentic selves. In doing so, we are building a culture that delivers better value for our clients and people alike.
Mazars trainee Ciarán Scanlon is representing Ireland in Boulder Climbing at the upcoming International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) World Cup 2023. We take a few minutes out to chat with him about how he got into the sport, his preparation for the World Cup and the challenges of balancing his work and personal and competing commitments.
