Mazars advises National Insurance on sale to PIB Group

Mazars was delighted to support the shareholders of National Insurance on their recent sale to Campion Insurance, part of the PIB Group.

Mazars’ corporate finance team, led by partner John Bowe and supported by Daniel Gallery and Megan Duffy, advised shareholders and the management team of National Insurance on the transaction.

National Insurance are a family run business headquartered in Tullow, Co Carlow and with offices in Dublin, provide a variety of insurance products ranging from car and home insurance to commercial property and motor trade insurance.

Campion Insurance Brokers, formed in 1984 by Jim Campion, grew into one of Ireland’s largest brokers before being acquired in 2021 by the PIB Group. Campion Insurance is now PIB’s lead brand in the Irish market. Launched in 2015, PIB has grown rapidly through acquisitions and by employing outstanding individuals with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the insurance market.
