Hilary Larkin Partner, Financial Advisory
Hilary Larkin is a partner within the Mazars Financial Advisory division and has extensive experience in insolvency, restructuring and auditing.
Hilary joined Mazars as an audit trainee and worked on a portfolio of audit clients across a wide range of sectors. She moved to the Financial Advisory team and has become an experienced insolvency professional with a prominent profile in the sector. Hilary is responsible for the operational management of a large and diverse portfolio of receivership and liquidation cases including residential and commercial assets, landbanks, portfolio sales and development projects.
Hilary has extensive exposure of managing and coordinating volume enforcement projects (including portfolio sales) on behalf of all private Equity firms and financial institutions operating in the Irish market and is uniquely familiar with the practical operational and reporting dynamics associated with this work. Hilary has worked on several development projects which involves coordinating the assembly of design team professionals, project managing planning permission processes, oversight of the construction phase, ongoing monitoring of project budget and variation account, negotiating site resolution plans with local county councils and execution of the ultimate agreed disposal strategy. Hilary has carried out business reviews of companies in financial difficulties on behalf of banks and investors with a view to assessing whether there is a viable proposition to develop turnaround strategies. She has conducted feasibility assessments of business plans on behalf of financial institutions.
Hilary is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
