IT Audit & Security Trainee - Dublin

Mazars currently has opportunities for graduates and postgraduate to train as IT Auditors in our IT Audit & Security division in our Dublin office. Successful applicants will be employed under a three year training and development programme, in the course of which they will be intensively trained and educated to operate to the highest standard in the area of IT audit and compliance.

Trainees will also sit professional exams throughout the course of their contract some of which include;

  • CISA – Certified Information Systems Auditor - Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA)
  • CISM – Certified Information Security Manager - Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA)
  • CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professionals
  • QICA – Qualification in Computer Auditing – Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA)

ISACA is a recognized worldwide leader in IT governance, control, security and assurance and develops international information systems auditing and control standards.

Lifecycle of an IT Audit & Security Trainee

The trainees’ responsibilities will grow with each year of the training contract completed and examinations passed. The beginning of your training contract will equip you with the technical skills and knowledge in order to become an excellent professional in your field. You will assist other members of the team with examining and documenting IT controls, planning and executing tests of IT controls and advising on and assisting with the remediation of control deficiencies. You will report directly into Managers, Directors and Partners. As you progress you will gradually gain more responsibility for elements of each assignment and begin to play a more central role.
