Lifecycle of an Insolvency Trainee
A trainee who chooses to work in Financial Advisory will work in Insolvency and Recovery. The beginning of your training contract will equip you with the technical skills and knowledge in order to become an excellent professional in your field. You will be working with other trainees, seniors and managers on liquidations, receiverships and examinerships in a fast-paced and pressurised environment. Trainees will be expected to show their initiative and will gain responsibility from an early stage. This will eventually lead you to manage projects and taking a lead role when liaising with clients as well as supporting new trainees during their contract period.
We will accept graduate applications from a range of different backgrounds and are looking for smart, interesting, people who will enjoy working with us. While your academic background is, of course, relevant, what’s more, important to us is how you apply yourself to your studies and to the pursuit of knowledge. You may have a background in engineering, business, law, science or economics- but what’s important is that you bring to the firm a willingness to learn and apply your skills in the best way possible. We can teach you the technical and business skills you need- but you also need energy and the right attitude to succeed.
