Mazars Guide to Irish State Aid for Film Production in Ireland Brochure

Tax partner Paul Mee is one of the leading experts in film finance in Ireland and has been advising producers on utilising the Irish state aid system for filmmaking in Ireland for over 15 years.

The Scheme commonly know as “section 481” was introduced to promote the Irish film industry, by encouraging investment in Irish made films which make a significant contribution to the national economy and Exchequer and/or acts as an effective stimulus to the creation of an indigenous film industry in the State. It can provide a significant net reduction in the overall production budget relative to the amount of the production work carried out in Ireland.
