Mazars has elected independent non executives (INEs) within its governance structure.
 Denise Fletcher | Denise Fletcher is a member of the Group Governance Council of Mazars Group and serves on the Board of Directors of Unisys Corporation. Until Inovalon Holdings, Inc. and Enterra Holdings, Ltd were sold she served on their Board of Directors. She chairs the Audit Committee of Unisys and before their sale she chaired the Audit Committees of Inovalon Holdings and of Enterra. She serves on the Security and Risk Committee of Unisys. She also served on the Security and Compensation Committees of Inovalon. At Mazars Group, she is the chair of the Remuneration Committee and a member of its quality and risk, and its audit committees. She chairs the Public Interest Committee of Mazars in the UK and the Public Interest Committee of Mazars in Ireland. She is a member of the Quality Advisory Board for Mazars France. She was recognised by the National Association of Corporate Directors for exemplary board leadership. Denise is a member of the US Council on Foreign Relations, the Economic Club of New York, the Harvard Club of New York, and the Academy of Women Achievers.  Éimear Moloney | Éimear Moloney has a B.A. Accounting and Finance and MSc. Investment and Treasury from Dublin City University and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. Éimear is a non-executive Director on the Boards of Hostelworld Group plc and Irish Contintental Group where she chairs the Audit Committee, Chanelle Pharmaceuticals Group Ltd, and Kingspan Group Plc. Prior to taking up her board roles, Éimear held a senior investment manager role in Zurich Life Assurance (Ireland) plc for over 20 years up to December 2017, with responsibility for asset allocation. During her career in Zurich, Éimear managed the Irish, US and UK equity portfolios. Éimear previously worked with Bankers Trust Funds Management Ltd in Australia and also with Crowe Horwath, Chartered Accountants. Éimear is a member of the Institute of Directors in Ireland. Audit Committee
Mazars Audit Committee is responsible for monitoring and reviewing internal control, external audit, accounting, and external reporting. It aims to meet 3 times a year and whenever the external auditors request a meeting.
Risk Committee
Mazars Risk Committee oversees the ethics and quality assurance of the firm. It has oversight for the design and implementation of the firm’s system of quality management and ensures it is operating effectively annually through our annual quality management monitoring program. Furthermore, it deals with any claims against the practice and their resolution.
Irish Executive Committee
The day-to-day management of Mazars in Ireland is delegated to the executive. The Executive has the responsibility for setting Mazars’ national strategy, within the overarching framework of the international strategy.
Public Interest Committee
The principal role of the Public Interest Committee (‘PIC’) is to enhance confidence in the public interest aspects of the firm’s activities with particular reference to high-level, general oversight of the firm’s decision-making, stakeholder dialogue, risk management, and quality control, remuneration policy and the issuance of selected annual reports to stakeholders.
