Eugene is lead partner in the Galway office of Mazars and has been a partner with the firm since 1995. Eugene has spent his professional career advising and supporting a range of business and corporate entities including emerging entrepreneurial companies, institutional and not for profit organisations, trade unions and parliamentary committees. Eugene is an expert in the design, communication and implementation of cost saving programmes, which are intended to maintain employment and sustain long term business value. He also provides extensive outsourced internal audit services to a range of clients particularly those entities serving in the public domain. His corporate finance assignments have seen him cross a range of business sectors including hotel and leisure, media, retail and distribution, and the drinks industry. Eugene also has substantial forensic experience and was the appointed financial advisor to the DIRT enquiry.
