We wish to appoint an IT Auditor to join our growing IT audit and compliance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with particular capability in security, networks and an exposure to internet technologies. The candidate will be part of a team of IT Auditors and will work with clients in the public and private sector.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILIITES

• Working with the existing team to deliver audit and security services to clients
• Examining, documenting and auditing IT and system controls for clients
• Planning and testing of IT controls
• Advising on and assisting with the remediation of control deficiencies
• Drafting management reports detailing issues found and recommendations to resolve them
• Liaising with financial and audit staff and client management to ensure that all aspects of the audit and compliance process are satisfactorily completed
• Prepare working papers and files to the highest professional standards
• Supervision of IT Audit Trainees

PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS

• 3 years technical management infrastructure network management or audit experience
• A formal IT qualification
• Experience in security network assessment and review
• Experience in IT general controls audit
• Experience in Data Interrogation/CAATS
• Good knowledge of physical and logical security
• Knowledge of end user computing and business continuity planning
• Experience in network security including exposure to internet technologies
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to operate in a challenging and dynamic environment
• Self motivated with a strong technical background

PREFERRED

• A formal IT audit (CISA, CISM or similar) or internal audit (IIA) qualification would be an advantage though not necessary
• Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP)
• Cisco CCNA & CCNP or similar training
• IT forensic, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment or similar skills an advantage
• Experience in a professional services firm (audit firm)
• Knowledge and experience in audit interrogation tools (ACL, IDEA, TOAD etc.)
• Knowledge of best practice IT audit principles and practices
• Knowledge of COBIT, ISACA, ITIL BS27001/2 standards/frameworks
