We wish to appoint an IT Auditor to join our growing IT audit and compliance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with particular capability in security, networks and an exposure to internet technologies. The candidate will be part of a team of IT Auditors and will work with clients in the public and private sector.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILIITES
- Working with the existing team to deliver audit and security services to clients
- Examining, documenting and auditing IT and system controls for clients
- Planning and testing of IT controls
- Advising on and assisting with the remediation of control deficiencies
- Drafting management reports detailing issues found and recommendations to resolve them
- Liaising with financial and audit staff and client management to ensure that all aspects of the audit and compliance process are satisfactorily completed
- Prepare working papers and files to the highest professional standards
- Supervision of IT Audit Trainees
PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years technical management infrastructure network management or audit experience
- A formal IT qualification
- Experience in security network assessment and review
- Experience in IT general controls audit
- Experience in Data Interrogation/CAATS
- Good knowledge of physical and logical security
- Knowledge of end user computing and business continuity planning
- Experience in network security including exposure to internet technologies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to operate in a challenging and dynamic environment
- Self motivated with a strong technical background
PREFERRED
- A formal IT audit (CISA, CISM or similar) or internal audit (IIA) qualification would be an advantage though not necessary
- Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP)
- Cisco CCNA & CCNP or similar training
- IT forensic, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment or similar skills an advantage
- Experience in a professional services firm (audit firm)
- Knowledge and experience in audit interrogation tools (ACL, IDEA, TOAD etc.)
- Knowledge of best practice IT audit principles and practices
- Knowledge of COBIT, ISACA, ITIL BS27001/2 standards/frameworks
